Charlotte, N.C.- ProctorFree was selected, among 9 other organizations, as a finalist in the Capital Connects event. The event, a Greensboro, N.C. Partnership Entrepreneur Connections signature event, focuses on educating investors and connecting them with entrepreneurs looking for funding.
The event, in its 10th year, exposes entrepreneurial ventures to local funding sources to span the breadth and depth of North Carolina’s entrepreneurial talent. The organizations competing range from first round college/university startups to existing companies seeking expansion capital.
“As a North Carolina based startup, we always enjoy meeting fellow entrepreneurs and investors in the state, said Velvet Nelson, co-founder of ProctorFree. ProctorFree is no stranger to pitching at these types of events but it will be our first time pitching in the Triad area and we’re looking forward to it.”
Finalists will have 6 to 8 minutes to pitch to local investors and support organizations.
The event will be held on Nov. 18 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering. For more information, visit http://www.greensborocapitalconnects.com.
