Velvet Nelson has worked in higher education for over 10 years. She has held various positions in online and continuing education at Piedmont Community College and UNC Charlotte. Prior to starting ProctorFree, Velvet’s last position was at Everblue Training Institute where she was the Director of Accreditation. Velvet holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Lynchburg College and a Master’s degree in Adult Education from North Carolina State University. As Chief Learning Officer at ProctorFree, Velvet leads the company’s efforts in developing new partnerships with colleges and universities.
