In a study recently published by the Chronicle for Higher Education, 72% of professors teaching for MOOCs do not believe students should earn academic credit for participating in free massive open online courses. Interestingly enough, the professors surveyed do believe that MOOCs could reduce the cost of higher education and that MOOCs are here to stay.
