Nothing gets me going like preparing for a conference. The anticipation of the keynotes, relentless scrolling of session descriptions to plan my schedule, and of course, the exhibitor’s SWAG. Next week (September 4-6) our team is heading to NCTA 2014 in Denver, and the theme is “Mining for Success”. Now to be fair, I don’t know if that’s a wink at the gold rush or big-data mining -which is up-and-coming. My only recommendation is to move the venue to this new cool Dinosaur Hotel.
We’ll be hosting an exhibit table, and doing things a little bit differently this year. You know how gamification is a growing field in education? And you know how experiential learning is a growing field? Want to see what happens when you put these “theoretical lenses” on a conference? You get a scavenger hunt!! Check out the full graphic below.
There are 10 items for attendees to find. Bring at least 8 to our booth and you get a surprise. Maybe it’s a gift card, maybe it’s a signed head shot of Jeff, our Director of Partner Relations, maybe it’s a boat! Only one way to find out….
